The purpose for this program is to teach more girls the game of golf, provide social opportunities to encourage lasting friendships, instill confidence in girls, inspire them to live active lives and most important HAVE FUN!
Meets every other Tuesday from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Rogers Park Golf Course or Summerfield Crossings Golf Course
Program Details:
-Year long program
-Each session is 7-weeks meeting every other week totaling 14-weeks per session
-There will be 1 culminating field trip/activity at the end of each session
-We are partners of the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida so we have patches available for any Girl Scout members that complete the program
-Each class will include: Life Skill, Golf Skill, and Social Activity
-If a Girl Scout member there is a discount and a patch once the session is complete
Our chapter is one of many in the First Tee network. First Tee is reaching young people in all 50 states and select international locations on golf courses, in elementary schools and through other youth-serving organizations.
